Dr. Jeremy Ciano

Dr. Jeremy Ciano has built his Carmel-based practice by earning each patient’s trust and respect with a welcoming smile, high energy, and a genuine passion for delivering personalized health care. He takes pride in helping his clients maintain and improve their eye health and uses the latest in diagnostic technologies to do so. As a family care optometrist, he enjoys helping improve the quality of life by delivering crisp and clear vision.

As a student, Dr. Ciano was named an Academic All-American while playing varsity tennis at Kings College. He then went on to earn a 2nd Bachelor of Science and his Doctorate in Optometry from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2001. Dr. Ciano’s passion has always been in the contact lens world, where he specializes in patients who have Astigmatism, Dry Eyes, and Bifocals.

Now, it is Dr. Ciano who does the teaching. As an international lecturer, Dr. Ciano has presented in over 20 states, Europe, at nearly 100 venues, while also publishing multiple articles in several nationally peer reviewed journals. Dr. Ciano has also assisted over 40 practices with his business consulting work around the United States.

Prior to starting his own practice, Dr. Ciano worked at the Florida Institute of Sports Vision with Team Doctors for the NFL’s Miami Dolphins. Continuing in the field of sports vision, Dr. Ciano is part of The A-Team, which is a national group of sports-specialty trained eye care professionals who assess a variety of visually driven skills, such as eye-hand coordination, eye tracking, alignment and eye dominance. Some of Dr. Ciano’s most recent sports vision evaluations have been with the LPGA, NASCAR’S Hendrick MotorSports, and NFL Combine preps at the world renown IMG Academy in Florida. Dr. Ciano is excited to continue to assist local athletes in getting their eyes in the best shape for their game!

Dr. Ciano’s efforts have not gone unnoticed as he was recognized as one of “America’s Top Optometrists” in 2012 and again in 2016. Dr. Ciano also holds the title as one of the top Bifocal Contact Lens Doctors in the Midwest. Furthermore, the Indy Channel’s A-List ranked Dr. Ciano’s RevolutionEYES^™ as one of the top optometry offices in the state of Indiana.

Additionally, Dr. Ciano actively engages and participates in both the local and national optometric communities. He is a member of the Indiana Optometric Association, The American Optometric Association, The Contact Lens and Cornea Association and Sports Vision Association. He has also been privileged to serve as the state director for IDOC (Independent Doctors of Optometric Care) since 2010.

Most recently, Dr. Ciano opened a pediatric optometry practice called Little Eyes, fulfilling his son’s dream to have an eye care practice just for kids. (https://littleeyes.com/a-little-boys-dream/) Little Eyes provides free vision screenings to over 20 schools and 2000 children each year. Little Eyes is also honored to also partner with the Indiana Blind Children’s Foundation and makes a donation for every single pair of glasses that are purchased since the inception of the practice.

Dr. Angeline McLean

Dr. Angeline McLean grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, where she attended The University of Alabama at Birmingham on an athletic scholarship to run track and cross country. While there, she achieved her B.S. in Physiologic Optics and her Doctorate of Optometry, graduating with honors in both.

Dr. McLean then moved to Indiana, where she completed a residency in cornea and contact lens at Indiana University in Bloomington in 2002. Afterwards, she served as adjunct faculty from 2002 – 2003.

In 2003 she moved to Indianapolis and joined Dr. Dennis Lauck at his new office in Carmel, finally achieving her dream of being in private practice. Here, she practiced primary care optometry for 20 years, becoming a partner in 2005 and then continuing his practice after he retired in 2012. She is beyond thrilled to now further her career at RevolutionEYES^™ starting in February of 2024!

The beautiful office, unique frame styles, and technology provided attracted me to join Dr. Ciano’s busy and successful practice. In her rare free time, Dr. McLean loves to volunteer with Gleaners Food Bank and IRIS (Indiana Reading and Information Services – a reading service for anyone with a visual, physical, or learning disability). She also enjoys doing hot yoga, traveling, and doing anything that involves being outdoors!

Dr. Katherine Schuetz

Dr. Schuetz attended Indiana University School of Optometry, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She received her B.S. from Indiana University as well, after completing the majority of her undergraduate education at Millikin University in Decatur, IL. She has been practicing in Carmel and Zionsville for almost 20 years.

Dr. Schuetz is actively involved in the community. She participates in monthly vision screenings at the Trinity Free Clinic (an organization dedicated to serving the health care needs of the uninsured and underinsured low income residents of Hamilton County) and was one of the first optometrists in central Indiana to be part of the InfantSee program (a free vision and ocular health evaluation for infants 6-12 months). As well, every school year, Dr. Schuetz provides free vision screenings at multiple schools throughout the Indianapolis area. This provides the opportunity for over a thousand children to be screened for eye health issues.

Dr. Schuetz has lectured internationally on myopia control, and is passionate in reducing dependency on glasses and contact lenses in all her patients.

At Little Eyes Pediatric Eye Care, Dr. Schuetz completes eye health exams for children from infants to 13 years of age. Here, she created a program called Double Vision for every pair of complete glasses sold, a monetary donation is given to the Indiana Blind Children’s Foundation (whose mission is to invest in the future of Indiana’s children who are blind and impaired in ways that meaningfully enhance their education and lives). Little Eyes also has a program allowing you to donate your old eyeglasses to the Carmel Lion’s Club (which are then distributed back into the community to those in need).

Dr. Schuetz has been published in the Independent Doctors of Optometric Care journal as well as other outlets discussing important issues with regard to pediatric eye health such as UV rays, sports vision, importance of annual eye exams and vision correction.

Active in the American Optometric Association, the Indiana Optometric Association, and the Central Society of the IOA, Dr. Schuetz stays aware of the latest issues in optometry and how to provide the best patient care.

Dr. Hannah Wilson

Dr. Wilson attended Indiana University School of Optometry, where she graduated with honors. She received a BS in Biology and a BA in Spanish from Butler University. She has been practicing in Carmel since 2016.

As a student, Dr. Wilson was actively involved in the American Optometric Student Association, where she represented IU on a national level as a Trustee. Passionate about volunteerism, Dr. Wilson also served as the Vice President of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity and was named the Jack Bennett Humanitarian Award recipient for her efforts.

Through her clinical education, Dr. Wilson gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, fitting contact lenses, and working with pediatric patients. As a primary care optometrist, who splits her time between RevolutionEYES^™ and Little Eyes, Dr. Wilson looks forward to tending to your entire family’s ocular needs.

Dr. Wilson is a member of the Gold Key International Optometric Society, the American Optometric Association, and the Indiana Optometric Association. She sits on the Board of the Indiana Blind Children’s Foundation and has a “little sister” through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana who attends the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Dr. Wilson further gives back to the community by performing vision screenings at numerous schools in the area. She and her husband reside in Indianapolis with their two young children. In her spare time, Dr. Wilson enjoys traveling with her family, running, and trying out new restaurants.

Dr. Frannie Fiechter

Dr. Frannie Fiechter received her BS in Biology, cum laude, from Butler University, where she first fell in love with the greater Indianapolis area. She then attended Indiana University School of Optometry, where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree. To foster her care for those with specific vision needs, she has enjoyed volunteering her time at the Indiana School of the Blind and Visually Impaired, organizing activities for the children in the residential program. As she has always had a passion for working with children, she has spent lots of time participating in vision screenings, and loved to serve in iTown Church’s infant and youth programs before having children of her own.

Continuing on in her love for children and the pediatric population, Dr. Fiechter spends a good portion of time at Little Eyes taking care of the needs of the younger individuals in your family. She had the privilege of training at one of the top referral centers in Indianapolis, where she gained extensive knowledge in management of cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration.

In her free time, Dr. Fiechter loves to run, bake, enjoy time with her family, and vacation anywhere warm. She looks forward to taking care of the vision needs of your family!

Dr. Amy Iddins

Dr. Amy Iddins is originally from central Illinois. She made the move to Indiana for her undergraduate degree at Indiana State University where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. During her time at Indiana State, she served in multiple roles on the executive board for her sorority, Chi Omega.

Dr. Iddins went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she graduated magna cum laude. While in school, she was an active member of the American Optometric Student Association, “SVOSH” Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, and Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. At the completion of her clinical training, Dr. Iddins was selected by her professors to receive the Jess Boyd Eskridge Excellence in Primary Care Award.

After graduation, Dr. Iddins elected to do a year-long residency at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL. Her residency focused on hospital-based primary care with a strong emphasis in ocular disease. During this year of training, she became very proficient in the diagnosis and management of many diseases including glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, cataracts, corneal disorders, dry eye disease, and diabetic eye disease.

Following her residency, Dr. Iddins & her husband relocated back to the Midwest to be closer to friends and family. They reside in Fishers with their two young children, Harper & Leo, and puppy, Sully. She has spent the majority of her career practicing primary care optometry in Carmel, but is very excited for the opportunity to work in the Fishers area now, providing eye care to the community she calls home. Dr. Iddins is an active member of the Indiana Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. In her free time, she loves to do home renovation projects, bake desserts, travel with her family, and explore the local food scene.

Dr. Kennedy Neukam

Dr. Kennedy Neukam is originally from Dubois, IN, where she was born and raised. She credits much of her dedication for helping others to her wonderful community and close-knit family. She received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Chemistry from Western Kentucky University after three years and continued on to Indiana University School of Optometry where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2023. Throughout her clinical education, she gained extensive knowledge in ocular disease, pediatrics, and specialty contact lenses while working under her esteemed mentors.

As a teacher’s daughter and oldest sister, she has always had a love for children. As a student, her love continued to grow by serving as a trustee for the Pediatric Club and Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity. Her experience through her church’s mission trips and volunteering has helped foster her passion for community. She is looking forward to making Carmel, and the surrounding community here, home.

Dr. Kennedy enjoys horseback riding, reading, shopping, traveling, game nights and spending time with those she loves. Being an Enneagram 2, she is excited to meet your family and serve their optometric needs!
