Dr. Jeremy Ciano has built his Carmel-based practice by earning each patient’s trust and respect with a welcoming smile, high energy, and a genuine passion for delivering personalized health care. He takes pride in helping his clients maintain and improve their eye health and uses the latest in diagnostic technologies to do so. As a family care optometrist, he enjoys helping improve the quality of life by delivering crisp and clear vision.
As a student, Dr. Ciano was named an Academic All-American while playing varsity tennis at Kings College. He then went on to earn a 2nd Bachelor of Science and his Doctorate in Optometry from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2001. Dr. Ciano’s passion has always been in the contact lens world, where he specializes in patients who have Astigmatism, Dry Eyes, and Bifocals.
Now, it is Dr. Ciano who does the teaching. As an international lecturer, Dr. Ciano has presented in over 20 states, Europe, at nearly 100 venues, while also publishing multiple articles in several nationally peer reviewed journals. Dr. Ciano has also assisted over 40 practices with his business consulting work around the United States.
Prior to starting his own practice, Dr. Ciano worked at the Florida Institute of Sports Vision with Team Doctors for the NFL’s Miami Dolphins. Continuing in the field of sports vision, Dr. Ciano is part of The A-Team, which is a national group of sports-specialty trained eye care professionals who assess a variety of visually driven skills, such as eye-hand coordination, eye tracking, alignment and eye dominance. Some of Dr. Ciano’s most recent sports vision evaluations have been with the LPGA, NASCAR’S Hendrick MotorSports, and NFL Combine preps at the world renown IMG Academy in Florida. Dr. Ciano is excited to continue to assist local athletes in getting their eyes in the best shape for their game!
Dr. Ciano’s efforts have not gone unnoticed as he was recognized as one of “America’s Top Optometrists” in 2012 and again in 2016. Dr. Ciano also holds the title as one of the top Bifocal Contact Lens Doctors in the Midwest. Furthermore, the Indy Channel’s A-List ranked Dr. Ciano’s RevolutionEYES™ as one of the top optometry offices in the state of Indiana.
Additionally, Dr. Ciano actively engages and participates in both the local and national optometric communities. He is a member of the Indiana Optometric Association, The American Optometric Association, The Contact Lens and Cornea Association and Sports Vision Association. He has also been privileged to serve as the state director for IDOC (Independent Doctors of Optometric Care) since 2010.
Most recently, Dr. Ciano opened a pediatric optometry practice called Little Eyes, fulfilling his son’s dream to have an eye care practice just for kids. (https://littleeyes.com/a-little-boys-dream/) Little Eyes provides free vision screenings to over 20 schools and 2000 children each year. Little Eyes is also honored to also partner with the Indiana Blind Children’s Foundation and makes a donation for every single pair of glasses that are purchased since the inception of the practice.
